First fertilized turbot eggs this summer

It's spawning seaons for our oldest broodstock fish at Fry Marine. The fish are 4 years old now and fully mature. This morning we stripped the fish and make the first fecudation of the season. It's always a very exiting job to do.

In the next couple of days the fertilized eggs are kept in our incubation system. This system is specially designed to provide the eggs with best conditions to develop and eventually hatch.

Next monday we hope to deliver this first batch into the larvae rearing systems. Busy period is ahead for all the workers, but this is what we love: fish farming!
